Having developed a relationship with the City during the realisation of a new tram line, C10 was commissioned to design two new bridges adjacent to Amsterdam Central station.

The larger of the two bridges allows heavy traffic to flow from the modern “Oosterdokseiland” to the old city centre. The smaller bicycle and pedestrian bridge joins the “Stationseiland” to the “Oosterdokseiland”. Both bridges were opened in the summer of 2011 and have a life expectancy of more than 80 years.
